Our current beverages inspired my card.  And of course, so did Andy :) We loved the video on him....I have always been a fan of his art, but it was interesting to hear the perspective of how his art was originally viewed!!

This was the easiest, quickest one of the day!  We got rid of the 2nd and 3rd graders - they are enjoying Ice Age 4 with Dad.  My au pair, Jannette, participated in this challenge with us.  She was a bit overwhelmed with all my weird tools :)

So, I love and don't love this card :( The technique was really fun, but I couldn't find my own twist, so I basically replicated the example (WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL!!).  I might challenge myself to try this again w/ my own take :)

3rd challenge of the day!!!  Okay, so the gold inspired us all to do shaker cards!! I love the PTI kit that came out a few years ago.

Emily's friend - our next door neighbor - came over to play, so this time we had TWO little girls helping.  That was a little stressful.  We kicked them out.  But at least they got a project in each :)

Here is my card (Mary is almost done - her's will be up soon!!).

I love that we all used different techniques for our background.  Emily used dry watercolors, Mary used liquid watercolors, and I used watercolor pencils.  I sprinkled glitter on mine when it was still wet and I LOVE it!!  Mary and Emily sprinkled some salt on theirs!  It's hard to tell in the picture, but the PTI Shimmer Cardstock adds a nice effect!

First SAF Project DONE!  This one was really fun :) I struggled a bit to start (I thought I purchased that Bitty Butterfly Cover Plate die, but guess not!!).  But I love how it came together :)

Sonoma!

Just realized my SAF profile doesn't have a picture.  We can fix that!  2 weeks ago, we spent a week in Lake Tahoe for a family reunion, and the adults took a side trip to Sonoma for wine tasting.  We had such a blast.  Love this picture of my husband and I :)
