Lexi - we LOVED this project!!!   Our favorite SAF project :)  We were all super impressed when we realized it was a card that could be folded and mailed - LOVE!

Here is our group display & my box.

STAMP-A-FAIRE 2018: WATER YOUR FLOWERS WITH BETSY VELDMAN

My son Alex participated in this challenge.  I LOVE how his bugs turned out!  We improvised and used the tree from PTI's Stamp Set "Mighty Oak" to make branches :)

We enjoyed this as an easier project after our Felt Wreaths - while I fingers recovered from hot glue gun burns :)  Here you can see our group shot and my card.

This is my daughter Emily's wreath.  I think hers turned out the best.  I LOVE her Sunflower!  It's proudly hanging on her bedroom door already.

Wow!  These wreaths took a LONG time, and we got lots of hot glue gun burns, but we all loved how they turned out!  Here is the group shot, and my wreath.

STAMP-A-FAIRE 2018: CREATING PLANTABLE PAPER WITH HEATHER NICHOLS

PTI, please tell us what materials we need before SAF!!  We definitely did not "have these materials" on hand :(  My daughter and I made a mad dash around town, going to Michaels, Target, and Home Depot before managing to fashion our own screen!  The kiddos had a blast though!  We made 1 paper for planting and plan to incorporate the rest into upcoming projects :)

WELCOME TO STAMP-A-FAIRE 2018!

Whew!  Another year of SAF on the books, now time to go back and post all those beautiful projects.  This is one of my favorites - most of us working on our pop-up boxes.  We had quite a crew this year - my mom visited and completed all the challenges, my au pair Natzely completed a few, my kids Emily and Alex made a couple, and our neighbor Hannah participated as well.  I'll be sharing everyone's projects on my blog! :)

My Craft Space

PTI sent a survey recently about Craft Spaces.  I realize while I post on here ALL THE TIME about my cards, I have never shared my space :)  This area was my 'present to me' after moving back to the US.  What I viewed as my equivalent of the typical "man cave" has turned into so much more.  This has become a family space for my kids to do homework and crafts with me, my dog to hang out while I catch up on work email at night, and of course where I craft :)  I have California Closets to thank for the custom design (and my Engineering husband who foresaw many functional features I never would have considered!).
