PTI Make It Monday #144: Heat Embossing Vellum....Take TWO

Emily wanted to do Make it Monday, so I took a 2nd shot as well.  This didn't turn out quite as good as I was hoping...but I combined with a technique from a previous MIM, and we colored the back of the vellum, so that the soft color would show through.

Emily wanted to do Make It Monday this week, so we are back at it, crafting this morning!  She was very happy with how her card turned out :)

Holiday Tags!!!

I was inspired by Maile Belles Christmas Tags and a friend's Peppermint Bark, so I decided to whip up a set of tags (Peppermint Bark will come tomorrow) for my team, friends, and neighbors in Mexico (hence the Feliz Navidad sentiment).  This was a fairly easy, mass production project, and I'm happy with how it turned out!!

Wow, after quite a crafting hiatus, I am back to try this week's Papertrey Ink MIM challenge!  I had fun with this one.  The details of the tree were lost in the embossing though....next time I will choose more bold images.  I sewed each of the tree layers on so that I could curl them up and give them some dimension.  Fun!
