Wow, it's been a LONG TIME since I did a Make it Monday!!  Eek!  But I've been getting everything organized & together for Stamp-A-Faire 2016!! YAY! Can't wait for all the fun Saturday :)

PTI MAKE IT MONDAY #241: OMBRE STENCILED BACKGROUNDS

WOW!! Make it Monday challenge 214 was the last one I did...now we're on 241!!!  Okay, so missing over 25 submissions was due to a very wild and crazy relocation back to the United States with P&G - back to Mason, Ohio!!  I just put an AMAZING craft room into our new house, so I hope to be submitting more frequently :)

Here is my card....we didn't have PTI Stencils :-O but we made our own with PTI coverplates.  Also sharing some pictures of my wonderul scrap space.

Emily and I happened to pick up a 4 pack of Gelato's when we were in the US over the holidays.....we haven't even opened or tried them.  This week's Papertrey MIM gave us a chance finally!!!  

Now, the BAD news is, we totally want the Anniversary set shown in the example!!!  And I recently used up all my award points :(  Looks like I need to do some major shopping to replenish and get the kit!!

Emily and I have been busy...haven't had a chance to do a Papertrey Ink MIM for awhile.  This one was easy and fun....wasn't until I posted it to my blog I realized how similar it was to my last MIM submission.  OOOPS!  Guess I really like that die :)

PTI Make It Monday #197: Homemade Foam Stickers

I love how this card for PTI Make it Monday turned out.  First time I was able to play around with the "Fancy That" stamp set.  I will definitely use this technique again...great way to use up the scrap foam from the "Sprinkles and Shakers" Make it Market kit...but maybe not with glitter :)

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #192: Tab Closure Tri-fold Card

Yay!  Mother's Day in Panama means we can actually tackle Make it Monday ON MONDAY!  Emily and I really enjoyed this week's challenge.  How fun!!  That girl was whizzing on her card.  I didn't even realize until she was done that she used a brad to "close" it.  Oops!!  Oh well, we can send it to Grandma :)

Had a hard time getting a good angle on the card, so at least I got one with a cute subject in the background :)

We are squeezing in this week's Make it Monday challenge, just before heading out on vacation!! :)   I thought this would be a great fit with Thanksgiving right around the corner.

SAF Timer Challenge

The first event of Papertrey Ink's STAMP-A-FAIRE is a Timer Challenge!  Emily and I have never done this before, but how stinkin' simple!  We both got done with 11 minutes to spare - including clean up!! WOW!

PTI Make It Monday #176: Backgrounds with Embossing Paste and Shakers & Sprinkles set!!!

Time for some Make it Monday!!!  This was kind of a failure...we did not have white embossing paste on hand, so we substituted with Multi-Medium Matte.  That was more like a glue, so our stencil's didn't work very well.  Plus on my first try, I forgot to scrape off the excess.  What a mess!  I think Emily and I used about half a roll of paper towel :)  In any case, we have no ordered white embossing paste, and we'll give this challenge a try again when we have the right supplies on hand!  

We also played around with the Shakers and Sprinkles set for the first time.  We were SO EXCITED to finally get this set!  We had tons of fun and took lots of notes, so that next time we can assemble our projects faster.  Emily tried hers with glitter instead of sprinkles, and got a pretty cool effect.
