PTI Make It Monday #177
I was going to do more on this MIM challenge, but I really liked the simplicity of this card, so I kept it :)

Cards, Cards, Cards!!!
I play quite a lot with my Papertrey Ink Stamps, thanks to the Make-it-Monday challenge, which I love. But this means I rarely take a day to just play with my Stampin' Up! sets, which I also love!! My parents just visited Mexico and brought all my new goods from the recent Sale-A-Bration promotion, so last night I decided to make some cards. I rarely use patterned paper on my cards, but I love how quick and easy it was to pull together these cards with patterned paper. And I'm sending a blog shout out to Mary Fish and Brian King. I love checking out their blogs for creative inspiration!

PTI Make it Monday #147: Multi-layer Images from a Single Stamp AND COPICS!!
I have a lot to post today :)
First, I had fun with this week's PTI MIM Challenge, however it was really hard for me to find a stamp set that would work with the technique! Emily - my 6 year old - tried to participate, but she quickly got frustrated with all the fussy cutting and gave up :) Maybe next week!
For this card, I also used the Envelope Punch Board to make a bigger envelope to accommodate the banners.
Also, I have been toying with the idea of getting Copic markers for a LONG time. I just LOVE when I see Nichole Heady use them on her Papertrey Ink products. Well, this year both my kids drew me in our respective family draws, and my husband wanted a very expensive Lego set, so we decided to completely blow the limit and treat ourselves. I have had SO MUCH FUN playing around with the Copics!! I already have a list started for my 2nd set of colors :) Here are some of my first examples.
Happy Crafting!!

PTI Make It Monday #108: Inked Backgrounds - Take 2
I had fun with this week's challenge...and since my daughter works at a slower pace, I cranked out 2 cards while she worked on hers. I don't like this one as much as the first one though :)

PTI Make It Monday #106: Two-Toned Stamped Flowers
The perfect recipe for a scrap night:
- Wine
- Husband on a business trip
- Caught up on work and home stuff
- New MIM challenge
- Good music & favorite scented candles (that you can't burn when Hubby is around due to allergies!)
Pretty simple approach this month - I had fun with it :)

Birdie Birthday
My daughter and I are just playing around today - crafting in our jammies all afternoon! She is hard at work on her own PTI MIM Challenge. Meanwhile, I combined some of my favorite birdie sets from my 2 favorite stamping companies - Stampin' Up! and Papertrey Ink.
